Greenwood advanced to the second round of the Munster Junior Cup with an thrilling 4-3 win over Postal Celtic. Postal took the lead in the fifth minute and scored a great goal from 40 yards after 58 minutes. On 62 minutes Damien Crowe scored a penalty after Ger Murphy was taken down in the box. Greenwood levellled on 77 minutes when Owen Sweeney was on hand to finish a cross into the box. Ger Murphy gave the Greenwood the lead moments later with a great run and finish into the right hand corner. 60 seconds later Postal equalized. In the last minute of normal time Ger Murphy produced another finish to the right-hand corner to win the match for Greenwood!

Greenwood recorded yet another draw in blustery conditions in Clashduv Park. Ballintotis took the lead in the first half with an excellent shot from outside the box. Greenwood earned a point with a late equalizer from substitute Leonard Crowe.
