U8 Blitz in Colman Park

On Sunday last our Under 8 team competed in the Springfield Rambelers blitz which was held in the impressive St Colmans Pk Cobh.

Our first game was v Carragline AFC which after a great battle we lost 3-0 with all 3 goals coming in the last 5 min of the game(This Carrigaline team are unbeaten in over 20 games this season and beat us 8-0 back in October).

The lads next faced Springfield Rambelers and turned things round with an impressive 2-0 victory setting up a 3/4 place play off with Wilton AFC.

The boys even though it was their 3rd game in a row put in a huge effort to secure 3rd place with a great 3-1 victory. All 12 lads put in a huge effort on what was a great day and we'd again like to thank Springfield Rambelers for our our invitation to what turned out to be a fantasic day.
